What We Do

Kids Club Outreach Program
Our Kids Club program reaches hundreds of children each week in neighborhoods throughout our community. We teach children about making the right choices and decisions by teaching them practical skills with bible study lessons, scripture memorization, songs, and other activities that children enjoy. Children in these impoverished neighborhoods receive encouragement through our dedicated staff. During the program they also receive gifts, snacks and other items. We also provide services to the local church helping them reach children in their neighborhoods.

Alpha Dog Student Achievement Awards School Program
This program is designed to recognize the academic achievement of students that have struggled to make the grade but over a period of time have shown great improvement. Your gift will provide scholarships and other gifts that will encourage student acheivement! We believe that if we can encourage these students they will go on to excel in school, graduating to achieve their hopes and dreams!

A Christmas Joy Ride Toy drive
Show & Shine Christmas parade
(Saturday before Christmas @ Sonic Drive Inn)
Children all over the community line the streets each Christmas to see some of the most awesome and powerful hot rods, motorcycles, and dragsters parade through their neighborhood streets. What makes this toy drive event so unique is that you can donate your gift, and see the child receive it that day. At the car show there's live music, vendors & more. Event participants that donate toys valued at $20.00 or more or make a $20.00 donation qualify to enter a car; bike and truck show and get a chance to win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, trophies, and plaques for their clubs.

Once upon a Christmas
(Saturday before Christmas)
Each year we receive phone calls from parents desperately seeking to provide gifts and food for their children. Through the partnership of area schools, disadvantaged children are referred to attend this event. Children are invited to come and experience the sights and sounds of the holidays. Their day is filled with live music, prizes, bikes, special guests, and more, bringing joy and hope to their hearts. Through the generous support of donors, children receive Christmas gifts, hot meals, and food baskets just in time for Christmas.

Back to School Bash and Health Fair
Hundreds of families find it hard to provide their children with the essentials to start off the school year. This event equips children to succeed and excel academically by providing back packs, school supplies, and other necessities that will prepare students for the school year. We also promote healthy kids by offering them an opportunity to take advantage of a variety of different health services. This event is fun for the whole family with live music, bounce houses, balloons, groceries, a hot meal and fun activities for the kids. We are able to help our children start the school year off with a smile.

Kids Crusade
July 1st- 3rd
Less fortunate families in our community each year desire to provide their children a memorable 4th of July holiday, often spending money that would have been used for rent, PG&E, groceries or other needs. Through our firework booth we try to give these families a little more bang for their buck. We organize a three day Kids Crusade that provide children with some great activities, gifts, food boxes, hot meals, candy, bounce houses, kiddy train rides, and more. Each night we have live bands, guest speakers and late night movies. These families walk away with more than what they came to receive, knowing that we care!
